Stana Katic interview: “Castle has all the good ingredients to last”

 

Interviewer: Here you are, rewarded by our readers again …

Stana Katic: Waouh ! Thank you ! Thanks to Télé 2 semaines, thanks to your readers ! While I’m at it, I send my support to French for the terrible ordeal they are going through. Those terrorist attacks deeply marked us. The entire world has a moved thought for France and the victims of this terrible tragedy. We all feel concerned…

 

Interviewer: How do you explain the Castle’s success?

Stana Katic: I don’t think there is a recipe for success. But without a good theme, a good script, good stories to tell and actors who really throw themselves into it, you are not going to last long. Nothing can ever be taken for granted is the business of entertainment. Castle is a tv show with action, psychology, and, most of all, humor and love.

 

Interviewer: Where do you see Beckett in the episodes to come ?

Stana Katic: I don’t know ! What I do know, however, is that it is a complete character. A character that allowed me to explore every aspect of the human kind. Whatever happens, Beckett will always have a special place in my mind and in my heart. A day will come when Castle will stop and our roads will split up. I don’t know when it will happen but I’ve already come in peace with that and I will leave grateful to have been part of the credits of such a tv show!
